Barangay Bahay Toro


Have you ever wondered why it was named like that? Well, according to folklore, this area used to be where native water buffaloes or carabaos used to lurk and feed on the abundant grass. “Toro” means buffalo and “bahay” means house or a place for something. Hence, Bahay Toro.

  • Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 59,639.
  • A barangay promoting high moral values, self dicipline, wellness education, livelihood programs, unity, solidarity, self motivation, economic and financial management, zero crime incident zone, and among others.
